Dear Parents and Guardians, What a wonderful first few weeks we have had! Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me about how much your children are enjoying the program. It has been encouraging and wonderful to hear. We have really enjoyed meeting the families new to our program. It seems like almost all of the start of school kinks are getting ironed out and everyone is really getting settled in. I have made it out to all 6 campuses already and have really enjoyed meeting all of our new students! I have had a few parents ask, so I want to inform you EASY Care will be open until 6:00 for all of the scheduled Early Release dates. We will likely start at every campus with a movie until our regular staff can get out to the campus after their morning commitments including school, second jobs, etc. Please pack your child a larger lunch than normal, as we find when we have early release dates, the students tend to be very hungry. Other than that, it should be a normal day at EASY Care with active play, creative play and art projects. Please talk to your EASY Care Lead, if you have questions about your campus specifics. As a reminder, will not have school or EASY Care on Monday, September 5th in observance of Labor Day. Enjoy the long weekend. We will be excited to see everyone on Tuesday, September 6th to hear all about it. See you on Tuesday!

Dear Parents and Guardians, As the daughter of a school teacher, summer was a precious time in our household. We went on adventures daily and really enjoyed everything the summertime had to offer. I hope your family was able to make some special and exciting memories this summer! We will be ready to hear all about them on August 22nd. Thank you to everyone who chose to join us at Summer Blast this year! We really enjoyed our time with your children in June and July. In case you are new to the district (or you need a refresher), my office, the Rock House, is located at 601 Camp Craft Rd. We are in a limestone house across the street from Westlake High School. Feel free to drop by and say hello! This is also the location where you are able to drop off your monthly payments via check. Please be sure to drop off any medication your child may need (EPI pens or inhalers) to the EASY Care Lead on Monday, August 22nd. We do not have access to the nurses office once the dismissal bell rings each day. To enter the building on Monday, you will need the campus door code. Please check your email, as this was sent out to families on August 18th. The door code is for any person who may need to pick up your children from EASY Care. Please do not share the code with your child, as they should never need it. I will be visiting each campus in the first couple weeks of school to say hello and meet all of our new families! You will probably find me out at the campuses regularly throughout the year. I am excited to meet all of EASY Care’s new families and to be reunited with the familiar faces. I hope you enjoy your last couple days of summer! The school bell will be ringing soon enough.
