Dear EASY Care Families,
Many of you have already received the notification from Dr. Leonard that all Eanes ISD campuses will remain closed through April 5th. This closure includes EASY Care. We thank you in advance for your patience as we work through the details of a truly unprecedented event. Eanes ISD Employees: We will adjust withholding amounts after we are fully staffed and back to normal work schedules. Any further unplanned closure days will be calculated as needed. Community Members: Invoices for tuition will not be processed on April 1st. Tuition adjustments for unplanned closure days will be calculated as needed. While this unprecedented closure is understandably inconvenient for our families that will still be working during this time, I do hope that this notice allows you time to make backup plans for care. I will have limited access to email for the remainder of the spring break week, however, I will be able to respond to any questions you may have after March 23rd when I have scheduled time to work from home. Please follow city and CDC recommendations to help squash this virus and keep your family in good health. Wishing good health to all- Warmly, Tori Spurgeon-Chen

To slow the spread of the virus and safeguard the well-being of students and staff, Eanes ISD will suspend normal operations Monday, March 23 through Sunday, April 5. Students and staff should not return to campuses until they are notified.
During this two-week period, all Eanes ISD facilities will be closed for instruction and all other functions until further notice, including UIL events, athletics, rentals, field trips, after-school programs, childcare and other campus activities. All facility rentals during spring break until April 5 are canceled. Read Dr. Leonard’s letter here: https://is.gd/5sKZXg Hello EASY Care Families,
After careful consideration, we have determined it is in our students' best interest to leave all electronics at home. We will no longer allow students to play on the electronics during EASY Care hours. We believe this will help parents manage their children's screen time easier and allow our children to explore other activities during their time with us. We appreciate your help and feedback. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have. Warmly, Tori |
